I got nervous and lied that it was me, then hung up.?

Question

So here's the deal. I give out my number to this total hottie. She calles me last night and I picked up the phone, she asked if it was me. I said NO??? Then, she confirmed it was my number and then asked again it I was me. I confirmed again NO???? I was nervous. Then I called the number back and a guy andswered, she lives with her parents so I assume her pops. He couldnt understand me and ended up hanging up. Then I called back and left a stupid message about how my brother, picked up the phone and lyed and said it wasnt my phone.

I spent the rest of the night wondering what the hell is wrong with me? I feel like a total idiot!!! Has anyone else gotten that nervous?

I feel like wow, who was that guy answering the phone. Am I a total schitzo?

Do I try to explain it to her? Do I continue with the lie if she gives me the time of day?

you know....you could call her back and say something about how you answered the phone but that you were so nervous and then mention why... maybe like becuase you really like her or she is beautiful or something to tha effect that you didn't know what to say..... If you say somethin like that she might even think it was cute or endeering.....

guys are so hard to figure out. that poor girl is sitting there thinking you are tring to ditch her. You need to call her back i dont think you should tell her that you were nervous, she might not understand. I think for the moment you should stick with the message lie until she gets to know you a little bit and then tell her the truth which might be funny after she gets to know you. good luck. p.s. dont be nervous if she called you she likes you

just be honest and tell her you were nervous and made a fool of yourself..honesty is the best policy and the best way to laugh at ourselves is by admitting our mistakes
