Actually, there's nothing against taking Jesus' name in vain, in the Bible. That's just what religion tells you. *wink* It says you shouldn't take God's name in vain... and God's name, in the Bible, was in the Old Test almost 7,000 times and then removed for fear of blasphemy. "thou shalt not take the LORD GOD's name in vain" Vain in this sentence means to make empty... and to remove the name, made it empty.

Now if you go to the New Test, I believe it states that you could blasphemy the Son, but the unforgiveable sin is to Blasphemy the Holy Spirit. Strange how religion twists and turns this around, yet claims to stand on truth.

Jesus isn't Greek... Iesous is Greek. *wink*

Yeshua is the Greek

Yaheshuah is the Hebrew name, Iésus the Greek equivalent and Jesus the English equivalent. You are also right that Joshuah (Yeshuah) is another equivalent.

all means the same thing,, in vain? NOT

not taking His name insencerely or hypocritically or vulgarly... THAT WOUL D BE A PROBLEM
