Worms will bloat the belly and make it feel hard.

You can bring a stool sample to your vet and they can diagnose what type of parasites/worms the kitten has and they'll prescribe the correct medication and doseage.

A stool test should only cost about $15 and then it'll be the cost of the medication.

Common worms are not going to kill the kitten in the next 30 seconds. Get the kitten to the vet with a poop sample and it can be taken care of with little fuss. Although it is possible your kitten is pregnant, it is highly unlikely. Such pregnancies always end premature and rejected by the kitten’s body. If your kitten is a girl, that is.

Could be a few things, like the others say worms are very likely the cause. A good vet prescribed wormer will rid them fast (the over the counter stuff, like hartz wont kill off all kinds of worms). What are you feeding him/her? If your giving milk she may have gas and bloating from that. If she's a girl, older then 6 months, not fixed and has access to the outdoors she's pregnate. Get her spayed asap all this world needs is more unwanted cats.

Worms is the most likely cause since you say it is a kitten, but also kittens can get constipated, especially if they are still really young. You can try a moist warm cotton ball and rub it on it's bottom, and/or petroleum jelly.

baby kittens have problems with different varieties of intestinal parasites and giardia. kitties need to go to vet for baby checks and give stool samples for treating the kitty correctly and fixing the problem.

She might have worms. If you take her to the vet for her exam they will check a fecal sample and test for intestinal parasites.
