I'm thinking of getting a t-shirt that says,
But i'm eighteen though!!!
It gets annoying, 'oh but you look young though'

I never asked.
Or should i carry glitter around and throw it into peoples eyes and say
'pixie dust to restore your sight.'

HAHAHA I have the same problem honey, I'm 22 and still get asked for ID to but cigs. My car was being sprayed the other day so I had to get the bus which I hate, when I got on the bus and told the bus driver I wanted 1 full fare to ........., he looked at me and gave me a child's ticket! So it is helpful sometimes as it can be a great money saver. I got stopped at a garage a few months ago while I was filling up my car, they asked for ID as they didn't think I was old enough to drive!!! I couldn't believe it, why would I be driving around? Where would I get the car from if i wasn't old enough? Madness, it's all madness!!!

Once upon a time, I had the same problem and, I agree, it was very frustrating. However, now that I'm older I appreciate the fact that I still look quite a bit younger than I am. In the meantime, act your age, dress appropriately (ie. less like you're still in high school) and ... keep your ID easily accessible!

Don't you have some ID that proves your age? Some people may react badly to the pixie dust stunt. In 20 years time you'll be wanting to look younger, so don't go changing or re-arranging, we'll like you just the way you are

I had the same problem. I just got over it after a while. I'm 19 and some people used to think I was 12. You just have to be secure in yourself and carry yourself like a woman and no one will question you.

Why is it for part of our lives we desperately try to look older, then for the rest spend a fortune on facecreams trying to look younger???
lmao

You should enjoy & revel in the fact you look younger than your age, no matter your age.
Always carry valid ID with you, and you can prove em all wrong with a sneer.

Oh, and you'll complain all the more when people STOP ID'ing you!
That's about the time to start on the facecreams...
:o)

You need to start loving the fact that you look younger! I am 24 and constantly get mistaken for a 16 year old, but when I'm in my 30's I hope to still look at young.

Best way to look older is do Drugs and Drink Alcohol. Do not eat a well balanced diet. Heck, I know people that have done this and they look 20 years past their real age.

You know howsome people lie about their age and say they're younger than they are? I've got a different take on the whole thing...
I always say I'm much older than I am. People always say "WOW! You look hot for 50!" I never get tired of that!

I'm always mistaken for being younger then I am. It USED to be very annoying but you have to think of it as a compliment. You'll be glad when you are older that you look younger. I still get carded for cig's and I'm in my early 30's. I take it as a compliment!!
