I have a sore throat but i didn't think you could have a sore throat after your tonsils have been taken out, the reason I got them taken out was because of my sore throat, and if it is sore throat then I got my tonsils out like 4 years ago and this is the first time that I have had it since!!

Sure you can. Doesn't happen as often once your tonsils are out but it can still happen. Best remedy I know of is gargling with warm salt water. Works every time (unless I have strep).

yes, you can still have a sore throat... many factors can cause sore throats... I had my tonsils out when I was four, but the dry heat this time of year and sometimes sinus drainage can make my throat sore. You shouldn't have problems with tonsillitis anymore though... try getting a humidifier for your bedroom and see if that helps

Tonsils are usually removed because of repeated tonsillitis. The lining of your throat can get sore from strep etc with or without tonsils.
