I can't stand pro-life arguments!
Here are some facts...90% of all abortions are in the first tri-mester. A gob of goo that has a good chance of not forming correctly or resulting in a miscarrige has as much of a life as a fully developed human with family, friends, thoughts, memories, etc.? Abortions are NOT cheap, therefore, I hardly think they're used as a constant source of birth control. I've heard about women who have children just to get more welfare, though. If a woman is not financially or emotionally mature enough to prevent a pregnancy, what are the chances she'll raise it well? I'm aware that a person can have a rotten background and still turn out great, but those are exceptions. So rare, in fact, movies are made about them. Have you taken a look outside and seen the huge number that succumb to their environment? I saw a bumper sticker once that read, 'If you can't trust me with a choice, how can you trust me with a child?'
There are far too many 'exceptions'-medical & financial-to make a blanket rule.
