It is not impossible but it is rare unless there is an underlying medical disorder so if your height truly has increased by 1 inch (2.54 cm) after age 25 you should be seen by a physician.

I have a girlfriend who was 5'6" when we finished high school (about age 17). By the time she was in her late twenties, she was 5'9". It happened after her two pregnancies (began around age 19-21) and continued slowly into her mid and late twenties. She's over 40 now and still 5'9" but it is strange how some people grow in their twenties and others do not (I have not increased in height since I was about 15.)

There may be growth spurts, but you can't really do anything to make yourself grow taller. There is a procedure that will lengthen your leg bones, but it looks quite painful. If you get a tumor on your pituitary gland, you can grow taller/bigger like Andre the Giant.

No, it's not possible. Accept your height because there is nothing you can do to make yourself taller.
