my brother died recently so as a memory to him im looking for a design where i can write his name in either hebrew or ancient greek for my first tattoo but want to make sure the word is correct before i have it done.......could anyone help me? if it helpd you could spell the name Kristofer.......as i cannot find a site that will translate names. thanx xx

Wow, I'm sorry for you loss.

Christopher in Hebrew is written:כריסטופר , or with vowel marks: כְּרִיסְטוֹפֶר

In Greek it's written: Χριστοφερως (Khristoferos)

Hi, It mean messiah - hence christ see below

The word Khristos was used to translate the Hebrew word מָשִׁיחַ (Mašíaḥ), that is Messiah, and thus took on its current meaning.
