You are not an atheist...you are an agnostic. That means you are open to the idea of God if you have the evidence to show you that God is real. An atheist is closed minded to the idea of God being real. So, let me introduce you to the idea of God. Science says that everything is energy. You...me...the computer...the tree...is all energy. This is proven and verifiable FACT. This energy operates with intelligence. Now, intelligent energy can be called God. You can call it anything you want. Call it Poopy. I say God but you do not have to. You cannot deny the energy. Science proves it. So are you still an atheist? I don't think so.

It could depend on where you work. If you work at a job producing pornographic films, for instance, then I doubt God would want a Christian to be the best worker at your job.

Seriously ... being the best at your job is a very good thing. But being the best follower of God possible is much better.

Christians don't need to get their rewards here on earth. The things of this world are short lived. Our rewards are for eternity. Oh, btw, congratulations on doing a good job!

Interesting question, Sho Nuff.

By that question you are implying that God would have to be competitive.

No, God gives everyone a brain and the talent. It's up to us to decide how to use it. God does not play favorites.
