I think that the odds are that there is life on other planets. It's been suggested even in our solar system there are some forms of life. Mostly on the level of bacteria, due to water thought to exist on moons/mars in our system. If you add that by the millions and millions of solar systems in existence one would at least develop basic life forms if not intelligent life.

But the question I think is whether or not intelligent life would develop and if they would have the method to a) travel millions of light years away b) find other life forms.

I guess I do think that people with sightings tend to be mistaken or having some sort of vivid dream supported/driven by similar ideas in our society concerning "aliens".

But I do hold it within the realm of possibility that a few of these could be authentic...but I'm doubtful.

Jesus said that there were ninety and nine that were safely in the fold. He came to save the one that was lost. This would indicate that the ninety and nine were not those people who had already been saved, but were those who were never lost. The one He came to seek and save is earth, the only planet that is lost in sin. Sin is an earth problem. Our little planet is the lessonbook for the universe regarding the results of sin and the government of Satan. We know that sin was caused by the rebellion of Satan. We know that Satan used to be an angel (Lucifer). The Bible tells that Satan came to this earth to tempt Adam and Eve and he was successful. Thus, this earth was his testing ground to showcase his form of government. God has not given Satan full control, although only 8 people were on the ark during the flood. There would be no need to have multiple planets upon to test Satan's hypothesis that his government is better than God's. One planet is enough for the whole universe to see the malignant results of sin. Jesus only had to die one time to show the angels and other worlds Satan's true character.

Although sin is an earth problem, it did not start here. Sin started in heaven. Sin was quarantined to this earth and this solar system. No other life, other than angels can visit here due to contamination. Satan and his demonic forces are confined here. These are the only alien beings that people might see. Ephesians 3:10 gives added insight into this question.

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.

Who are these principalities and powers in heavenly places if they are not other worlds filled with God's creation? Job 1:6,7 give added insight behind the scenes.

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

Sons of God can be thought of as angels. However, when taken in context of other scripture, this term could also mean the representatives of the other planets. Satan came as the representative of earth, a title he took from Adam after the fall. Adam will regain this title when Jesus comes again, when sin and sinners are destroyed.

it would be a lot of wasted space if we didn't share the universe with someone of something. No those that have seen sightings aren't dillusional it just hasn't been proven and those skeptical haven't seen it for real life themselves or experienced what those people saw or experienced.

The odds of us being alone would be astronomical think about it why would there be million of galaxies billions of stars probably trillions of planets. Why would we be the only life form in the universe. The only scary conjecture is that the nearest planetary system is 4.5 light years away about 5.5 trillion miles. If someone does visit us first, their intellegence (just the ability to transverse that vast distance) would be way beyond ours and our intelligence vs them might be like comparing a simple animal to a modern man. We would only hope that their intentions would be benign

As man was created to have everlasting life, and will again after Armageddon, the planets are needed to handle the overflow from Earth. How we will get there is anyone's guess, but since we will have 100% of of our mental capabilities, perhaps we will us just our minds to explore and terraform planets.

As for the sightings of UFOs, consider the up coming Christmas holiday. The so-called wise men saw a light in the sky, which they followed. It didn't lead them to the Christ child, but to Jerusalem, where they met with the one person who wanted to see the Messiah dead. Though it is commonly believed that God sent the star, it is more likely to have been Satan or one of the demons. Christ said they can appear as angels of light. The question is what else can they appear as?

we have been probing the universe for about 50 yers for signals form other worlds and only once came close with LGM1 little greem men 1 a repeating signal turning out to be a pulsar

but other signals are found that are signs of fantastic intelligence... DNA RNA biological systems... the delicate balance of the earth

conclusion.....we are not alone
there is God the great designer and redeemer
and angels and demons

some sightings are probably delusional...some might be demonic

Mathematically speaking, the odds of us being alone in the vastness of the universe are quite high. But, yes, most if not all "abductees" are a bit troubled, imho.

for all the hype that we have been subjected to for many years concerning aliens and ufo`s there is no concrete evidence even yet of their existence only mere speculation, so it seems that God created the Angels and humanity only, but as God is everywhere then how could we possibly be alone in the universe!

Even prior to my study of the Urantia Book, I believed that the universe was just too big for there not to be other life forms out there. Little did I know that it was bigger than I could possibly imagine. How does 7 trillion inhabited worlds in the current era of creation sound to you?

As for sightings of UFOs and such phenomena, I think that many if not most sightings are simply mistaking something perfectly ordinary as a "UFO". Certainly some people who claim they have seen UFOs could be delusional, but I don't by any means think it applies to all. As of this point in history, I'm skeptical that we have been or are being visited by other beings like us from other parts of the physical universe(s), but I certainly don't discount the possibility.

2. ORGANIZATION OF THE SUPERUNIVERSES

15:2.1 Only the Universal Father knows the location and actual number of inhabited worlds in space; he calls them all by name and number. I can give only the approximate number of inhabited or inhabitable planets, for some local universes have more worlds suitable for intelligent life than others. Nor have all projected local universes been organized. Therefore the estimates which I offer are solely for the purpose of affording some idea of the immensity of the material creation.

15:2.2 There are seven superuniverses in the grand universe, and they are constituted approximately as follows:

15:2.3 1. The System. The basic unit of the supergovernment consists of about one thousand inhabited or inhabitable worlds. Blazing suns, cold worlds, planets too near the hot suns, and other spheres not suitable for creature habitation are not included in this group. These one thousand worlds adapted to support life are called a system, but in the younger systems only a comparatively small number of these worlds may be inhabited. Each inhabited planet is presided over by a Planetary Prince, and each local system has an architectural sphere as its headquarters and is ruled by a System Sovereign.

15:2.4 2. The Constellation. One hundred systems (about 100,000 inhabitable planets) make up a constellation. Each constellation has an architectural headquarters sphere and is presided over by three Vorondadek Sons, the Most Highs. Each constellation also has a Faithful of Days in observation, an ambassador of the Paradise Trinity.

15:2.5 3. The Local Universe. One hundred constellations (about 10,000,000 inhabitable planets) constitute a local universe. Each local universe has a magnificent architectural headquarters world and is ruled by one of the co-ordinate Creator Sons of God of the order of Michael. Each universe is blessed by the presence of a Union of Days, a representative of the Paradise Trinity.

15:2.6 4. The Minor Sector. One hundred local universes (about 1,000,000,000 inhabitable planets) constitute a minor sector of the superuniverse government; it has a wonderful headquarters world, wherefrom its rulers, the Recents of Days, administer the affairs of the minor sector. There are three Recents of Days, Supreme Trinity Personalities, on each minor sector headquarters.

15:2.7 5. The Major Sector. One hundred minor sectors (about 100,000,000,000 inhabitable worlds) make one major sector. Each major sector is provided with a superb headquarters and is presided over by three Perfections of Days, Supreme Trinity Personalities.

15:2.8 6. The Superuniverse. Ten major sectors (about 1,000,000,000,000 inhabitable planets) constitute a superuniverse. Each superuniverse is provided with an enormous and glorious headquarters world and is ruled by three Ancients of Days.

15:2.9 7. The Grand Universe. Seven superuniverses make up the present organized grand universe, consisting of approximately seven trillion inhabitable worlds plus the architectural spheres and the one billion inhabited spheres of Havona. The superuniverses are ruled and administered indirectly and reflectively from Paradise by the Seven Master Spirits. The billion worlds of Havona are directly administered by the Eternals of Days, one such Supreme Trinity Personality presiding over each of these perfect spheres.

15:2.10 Excluding the Paradise-Havona spheres, the plan of universe organization provides for the following units:

Superuniverses. . . . . . . . . . . . 7
Major sectors . . . . . . . . . . . .70
Minor sectors . . . . . . . . . . 7,000
Local universes . . . . . . . . 700,000
Constellations. . . . . . . .70,000,000
Local systems . . . . . . 7,000,000,000
Inhabitable planets . 7,000,000,000,000

15:2.11 Each of the seven superuniverses is constituted, approximately, as follows:

One system embraces, approximately . . . . . . . . 1,000 worlds
One constellation (100 systems). . . . . . . . . 100,000 worlds
One universe (100 constellations). . . . . . .10,000,000 worlds
One minor sector (100 universes) . . . . . 1,000,000,000 worlds
One major sector (100 minor sectors) . . 100,000,000,000 worlds
One superuniverse (10 major sectors) . 1,000,000,000,000 worlds

15:2.12 All such estimates are approximations at best, for new systems are constantly evolving while other organizations are temporarily passing out of material existence.

We are not alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how stupid one has to be to think that earth is tiny, less than a grain of sand. The storm on Jupiter is like 10 times bigger than earth, just one storm. how many galaxies are there, endless. many planets we are aware of have several moons and suns. The universe is endless. If that is not enough go to the Bible when Jesus returns to earth he says,
" I HAVE SHEEP OF ANOTHER FLOCK, THEM ALSO I BRING "
