My sister and I saw a car in the parking lot that was covered in bumper stickers. Two of them jumped out at us right away. One said, "Feminism is the radical notion that women are people." The other said, "Stop violence against women." HUH? What is this guy trying to say? And I can't even believe that first one.

O...kay. Some of you were insulting to me for absolutely no reason. I'm not pulling my hair out over this guys, it was just an observation. Calm down.

I can think of two things.
1) I'd look at what the majority of the stickers say. If just one sticker says something else then I'd be willing to bet that someone posted it as a joke.
2) He collects bumper stickers on his car and is more concerned with filling up the space than the message itself.

The first bumper sticker sounds like sarcastic wit. The problem with that is that it obviously doesn't communicate well and some people can take it to mean the reverse.

I believe the first bumper sticker was also feminist. In a way that was sarcastic towards men. And this guy/girl (how do you even know its a guy) was just experssing his point of view and that is the nice thing about where we live..he can do it.

The first one is sarcasm, referring to the fact that women should be treated like just as much of a human being as men. The second one is pretty self explanatory. He's obviously a male feminist if he will even be seen in that car.

Well maybe he just likes bumper stickers. Maybe he just likes to push peoples button and make them think about why he has all these insane bumper stickers on his car that make no sense.

The bumper stickers were on the car when he bought it and he's too lazy to scrape them off.

The first one is exactly that... he is asserting that it ISN'T a radical notion that women are people. You know a little satirical humor???
Obviously, he is pro-woman. What is your beef?

You don't believe that women are people?! Well, if you don't think women are people, then you probably don't give a rip about violence against them.
