Dishonouring Christian religious symbols is an old religious duty in Judaism. Spitting on the cross, an especially on the Crucifix, and spitting when a Jew passes a church, have been obligatory from around AD 200 for pious Jews.
And now anti-Christian statements are being made by professor Israel Shahak in a book called "Jewish History... Jewish religion"

"JUST FOR THOSE CLAIMING I DO NOT HAVE A PROOF, THE BOOK IS BEING SOLD NOW AT MANY BOOK STORES"
Yeah! And if it's written in a book, it must be true! Let's teach those Jews a lesson!
How about centuries of systematic persecution, complete with torture, forced conversions, and top it off with generous helping of mass murder?
Oh, wait, already did that.
You know, I've never seen a Jew do any of those things, and as an observant Jew myself, I know for a fact that none of those things are obligatory, or even recommended (of course, you can't believe me, because I'm one of them - best you keep getting your information from trustworthy sources like White Power groups).
But just in case a Jew ever DID do something like that, it's far more likely that he was thinking of people like you than of Jesus.
It's like, Jesus, save me from your followers!
Seriously, you obviously have no clue what Judaism teaches, and as a way of expiating your own irrational hatred of Jews, you seem to have transferred it with these classic anti-Semitic libels. You rationalize your hating Jews by saying that Jews hate what you hold dear. I'll let you in on a little secret - most religious Jews don't hate Christianity; they simply don't care. It plays no part in their lives, and in free countries, they have the right to live as Jews despite what racist pricks like you think (though describing what goes on in your head as "thinking" might be a tad generous).
You don't know **** about Jews or Judaism, but you insist on slandering them on open online forums.
WHY??

Israel Shahak is what we like to call a "self hating Jew" and statements in any book that he writes are on his authority alone which is nil when it comes to anything Jewish.
For the record, I challege you to come up with an authentic source from Jewish religious law. There is a huge body of works there so I'm sure you'll find something. Other than that, if you can find one source, you can invent one or twist the meaning of another (which is the standard practice of Israel Shahak, BTW).
Also, for the record, I have been around numerous religious Jews in my life, pious or otherwise, and not one of them have behaved in such a manner nor have heard from them anything like that either.

Why you ask?
duty to dishonour Christian symbols - too much trouble to dishour the entire brass section.
Spitting on the cross - makes it easier to make fine adjustments when nailing the heretics down for their trouble.
Spitting when passing a church - everyone knows that the spit is actually a sign of a sinus infection...nothing more sinister than that.
Hope this clears up your confussion....or maybe that is asking way too much.

I haven't read the book and probably won't. Christians have their nutty extremists, so why should it surprise me to find that Jews have a few themselves. That doesn't mean that Shahak represents all of Jewry, or even a significant portion.
"Spitting on the cross, crucifixes, and church." Bah! That's an ancient malicious falsehood. Shame on anyone who believes or tries to perpetuate it. The book probably contains none of these silly beliefs and concentrates on the many immoral deeds committed by the followers of Jesus.

In the first place, what you've said is untrue! But there are many reasons why Jews might have wanted to disrespect your religion!!!!
Because of the things your gospels have to say about Jews?
Because of the thousands of Jews that were slaughtered because they wouldn't convert to Christianity?
Because of the Jews expelled from European countries in the 15th century?
Because of the 6 million Jews (including 2 million children) slaughtered in the Holocaust by those professing to be Christian.

That is just typical goy behavior to spout such defamation you shaggetz!
Don't forget that the Jews regarded Jesus as a heretic and the worst sort of blasphemer. He had the audacity to call himself the actual son of God, and claim to be the only way to get to God. Both of these are rampant heresy. Have you people forgotten why the Sanhedrin ordered him to be Crucified.

You know it is almost unbelievable how many Christian people do not know of the real Jewish mentality concerning Christianity.
while many Christian preachers extol the state of Israel and even align themselves to Judaism they do not however admit to the Jewish hatred of Christians.
I could give you many, many real facts on this but I suggest that you read about the reality of this as laid down in the Jewish Talmud and I assure you that you will be horrified by it.
here is just one of many websites that you must visit,

your joking right?
what minister told you that garbage?
can you give any proof that Jews have done what you claimed?
This is almost as silly as the accusation that Jews buy communion wafers and stab them inorder to act out killing Jesus.
