Once my boyfriend moved in, my cat stopped laying on me to sleep, wanting to be with me (except when I am in the bathroom), and marks. I know why he marks and my boyfriend has been in the house for 5 months now, but the cat isn't going back to his old ways. Any suggestions?

In Responce:

He does love the cat very much and wants the cat to like him too. They play a lot, but the cat gets aggressive after awhile, with me and him, but he has always done that.

I dont know how you or your boyfriend might feel about this, but i would suggest getting another cat, for your cat...see cats are not naturally loners, and they need and want affection as well...this may make the whole house more harmonious...

Does your BF like the cat? Maybe he doesn't and the cat senses it and the cat can smell his scent on you.
