Watch movies with British actors and then just practice. It's not that hard once you get the hang of it :)

Why do you wish to improve an accent? They are charming. English is best improved by working on it, by speaking it. It comes with time.

Are you an actor? If so, it is a mistake to think that all English people speak with the same accent. They don't. There are vast differences between the north and south and the west and east in speech patterns, words, and accents.

Practise.

Read good well written classics.

Start a group or join a group to practise speaking English, hire a moderator who takes note and provide correction after an hour of practise, total 2 hours, each wk.

Listen to english radio and watch english tv. If you're into drama, join a group, or if thats not really your thing it doesn't have to be drama just somewhere where you are around other English people etc.
