With the recent passing of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 by the United State Congress, the "best site" now depends on where you are located, since some sites have stopped taking new players from the United States (or from specific states [IL, IN, LA, MI, NJ, NV, NY, OR, SD, WA, WI] in the United States).

I recommend three sites in particular for their nice bonuses, great game selection, and excellent sit-and-go tournaments at all stakes. As of this writing, all of these sites take players from any state in the US (as well as all non-US players, of course).

FullTilt: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/?key=MDAwMDJCNTMwMDAwNjhEMjIwODA4MDIxMDAwMDAwMDA
PokerStars: http://www.pokerstars.com/?source=robertmedl.com
Ultimatebet: http://www.incomeaccess.com/processing/clickthrgh.asp?btag=a_9639b_1915

If these sites are not to your liking, there are many, many more poker sites that you can check out.
US players that reside in any of IL, IN, LA, MI, NJ, NV, NY, OR, SD, WA, WI: http://theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/s.php?as_usa=1&SRC=YahooAnswers&t=Poker
US players from all other states have a few more choices available: http://theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/s.php?as_usa=2&SRC=YahooAnswers&t=Poker
Non-US players have the most choices: http://theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/s.php?&SRC=YahooAnswers&t=Poker

Best of luck!
Robert

I've tried a few this one is the dogs dangly bits for me, its fair play all the way, you can play Freerolls without making a deposit at all.

Its about time Freerolls were actually Free.

They also pay back around 50% of the profits to its members, again, you can get a share without spending any money.

Obviously they want you to spend money, but you can get by without ever spending a dime.
