We are not living in hell, but living in the tribulation times, which it is going to get far worse right before the return of Jesus for His church/bride.
Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

I was watching something the other night about that. They were talking about that on the history channel the othe night. the show was called band from the bible but if you look under this link there is a film on who wrote the bible and what was put in, taken out and why. and if that doesn't help go to www.historychannel.com and they have a resourse section that could help you.
another thing about them that i like is that they take perspectives from all sides. not just christian, muslim, or historian but each one so it helps keep it objective.

we aren't living in hell, hell comes after we die ( if your not a christian). so good luck finding anything on your topic. if you do find something, it won't be true.my advice would be to pick a different topic, but if you want to stick with the one you alreadt have i understand. i'm pretty sure there is some creep who wrote about what you want to know about. but i don't know the who what when.... i'm just answering your question for the points.
