I would TRY to take this up with you but clearly you are a brain washed nit wit that only wants to start a fight.
A wise man seeks enlightenment and understanding of opposing views not to agitate and start fights.

The word is Justice. That says it all for me,I can't say much about Jesus's death because it means nothing to me. The only thing the Christian having so much control of our society has done well is capital punishment,I believe if you cold bloodedly take a life you relinquish the right to yours. If I ever commit a cold blooded murder I would expect/accept the same. We will eventually get rid of it like many have, and will be saddled with supporting these monsters for the rest of their lives and worrying about their rights when the took the most basic right of humanity away from another. It's madness if you ask me,not to mention all the people who probably should have been in prison for life who we worried so much about their rights that we eventually let them out on the streets, since over 50% of murders in the US are committed by lifetime criminals, imagine all the innocent lives we could have saved, but we were too worried about the rights of the criminal.

If you look in the Bible as far back as Leviticus, there is reference to God endorsing capital punishment, but it reads like legislation, meaning that someone is to stand trial and be found guilty first. In the case of Jesus, there would be no Chrisitanity if it weren't for the crucifixion, however, it wasn't the crucifixion that made Christianity. It was the resurrection. It was the fulfillment of God's plan in Jesus.

HI,, we Christians ,,, don't much like it when people try to mix our founder with common Murderers, and Serial Killers, and pedofiles that kill little children and people that try and kill us by slamming jets into buildings and such.....
We pretty much have the stand,, "If you aint got the time, dont do the crime"!!! and "a swift trial, followed by a swift hanging".. is alright with me.....
good luck

God institutes authority. There needs to be punishment for crimes.
All men are going to die, capital punishment just speeds up the process for those who have murdered.
God is the ultimate judge and he judges justly.

I do not support it. The ending of a life is never up to us, it's up to God.
Personally, I've never been able to understand the position that "abortion is bad" but "capital punishment is good".

Jesus laid down his life to pay for our sins and He is not dead but alive!
Acts 2:22 "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know-- 23 this Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. 24 God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it.
While Jesus was killed by lawless men, the Bible clearly teaches that it is the duty of lawfully constituted governments to act as God's ministers here on earth and to take the lives of murderers and other such vicious law breakers.
Genesis 9:5 And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: from every beast I will require it and from man. From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man. 6 "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image.
"Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Romans 13:1-4
