This week (at this very moment) the Pope will visit Turkey. IT will mark the first time the papacy has visited the mostly Islamic state (even though it is secular) since Pope John Paul II did it in 1978.
The pope visits despite huge protest amongst Muslims who are dissapointed about his visiting amidst his speach last September and also with what's gone on at Haghia Sophia (a former 6th century Christian church turned Mosque after the Muslim turks ransaked Constantinople!)

sure its reliable. Its all about the ecu. The pope project is to get muslims to be extra accepting of different religions vulnerable Judaism. The regulation in turkey speaking hostile to the prophet mudbath is against the law. in case you attempt to spread a distinct faith you're breaking the regulation. If muslims cant substitute this they are going to by no ability be able to operate contained in the ecu. Turkey is a huge muslim usa thats a bridge to islam. the actuality is i imagine ecu will be stupid to settle for turkey as member. Turkey is average because it isn't a islamic state although there is huge professional islamic state flow it really is risky.

Yeah, I think he is in here now..Welcome for him.

I think Pope must change his mode with prejudice to Muslims. You know nowadays the wars and arguments increased between Muslims and Christians. I think Pope must give peace messages. He should argue the problems between Muslims and Christians and find solutions.

I hope it will be a good visit. For each religion.

To stand up for the rights of Christians in Turkey and encourage better relations between Christianity and Islam. Turkey is probably one of the safer Muslim countries to visit and he knows relations between the two are one of his biggest challenges so it's a good place to start.

I think his goal would be to ease tensions between Christians and Muslims. I think the Pope will apologize in Turkey about his remarks. Hopefully his visit will improve relations.

The main point of the visit should be a strictly Godly one.. He needs to set his own prejudice and views aside and come to Turkey to restore peace amoung the worshippers. Apologize emphatically for his unwise statements and encourage the religious factions to truce.

He should go their for the small percentage of catholics, but right now: most importantly: he should go their to try to improve the situation his words caused. How could it be right to blast a religion and call it spurned from evil roots- and then go visit a country that is 98 percent Muslim?

The main goal of the pope should be returning from there as soon as possible, like for example right after the plane that took him there, is fueled and clear for take off.
