In addition to the genealogy sites, the Calvert Family of Maryland are deeply steeped in American history.
Just put "Calvert family" Maryland into Google or Yahoo, and you'll get tons on them.

Honestly I think some of the best ways to find your family are to post to forums such as this one. One of the other posters on here replied that she had Calverts in her family as well. You might want to see who else does and collaborate with them on putting the genealogy together.
