Is any hormone, lack or excessive, interfare sleep?
I have been suffering from insomnia over 8 months. When i go to doctor, everytimes they prescribed me sleeping pill, and then more powerfull pill. But neither of anyone of them didn't diagnose my physical condition, such as if i was lack of any kind of hormone or another problem. I'd like to know if any hormone can able to interfare sleep? I am just 32 now, and i have no menstrual problem. Is T4 test ok for me now at this age? Or any other hormone test?

A lack of melatonin in your system will cause loss of sleep. Also consider your daily activity level. If for instance, you consume more energy than you use, your brain keeps going when you try to rest and fall asleep. Do you find yourself thinking about the day or what you should have done during your day, when you lay down. Consider depression as well as anxiety...ask your doctor about all of these maladies.

I also have found Valerien root capsules to be the most helpful for me. You don't wake up with a "hangover" either. You can find these capsules in a grocery store or department store like Walmart or K-mart. Instructions say on some brands to take up to 3 pills a half an hour before bedtime. You can also take one or two during the day depending upon the brand. They are sage with no side effects.
I hope you have better luck with your suffering from insomnia like you do. I have periodically the same thing. I have frequent wakefulness through the night, but Valerian root DOES help! Good luck to you.

brain chemicals/hormones can cause insomnia.
have you tried a cup of chamomile tea with a little bit of honey before bed? I've also found Valarian (herb) helpful.
doing calming or peaceful things before bed can help still the mind for a restful sleep. stay away from video games, action movies, and the news. perhaps a bit of quiet mediation.
hope this helps. sweet dreams!

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.
