this past thursday i was asked by this guy from work my #. so i gave it to him and i thought he was sorta intrested... so we talked on the phone for 5 days now and last night, some of his co-workers asked him what was going on between us, and he said that we were just friends and that he didn't like me... now my questions is... why would he even ask for my # in the first place if he weren't intrested?

He's probably just playing it off so that all of the coworkers don't start any rumors that aren't true yet. Just give it some time and keep talking with him. I'm sure he likes you, but he's not ready to tell anyone yet. He probably thinks that you don't like him as bf material. Just blow it off and keep being his friend! Best of luck!

If he asked, he's interested. He might not want to tell his friends just yet because of how things are different at work when something like this is going on. Listen to what he tell you. Guys are different with "the guys."

He's probably just being vague w/ his coworkers because he might feel it's none of their business or that it's too soon to be talking about it. Or, some guys will say they don't like someone to their friends even if they do, because their friends might tease them.

he is problem intrested in u, he just don't want other people in his business and he might not want to get his feelings hurt not knowing how u feel about him. it a guy thing.

he is interested if he is the one calling you for the past 5 days. he may not want his buddies to know any thing just yet. i wouldn't get into anything serious until he introduces you as his girlfriend.

cause he wanted to be friends, I often like to know the #s of my friends. Even more likely is he liked you, probably still does, and doesn't want to let anyone on to it until he makes a real move

He is. He just didn't want to tell his friends. I wouldn't take it the wrong way...he might not want to profess his feelings to his friends, especially since he doesn't know if you like him!

he was checking you out or it is personal and he dont really want to talk to others about it.some people do that to me was she this or that and i just dont answer them. if he calls more he is interested
