how do i know if he is real and who he says he is?
i enjoy our chats and he gets me to do things know one else has. he lives in another country and there is lots of the world between us. so i have not ever met him. i am honest when i talk to him, how do i know if he is?

i think you should continue to chat with him. if you feel comfortable doing the things he asks then keep doing, as long as its not illegal. if it pleases you to please him then do what ever you want. has he said anything to you that makes you think he is lying to you. have you called him and does he sound honest.
ask him lots of questions to see if you can trip him up.

Well, have you talked via webcam or just a chat room? Maybe it would be a good idea to talk via webcam and you might be able to see if he is really who he says he is. Otherwise get an international phone card and call him, see if he sounds genuine. If he doesn't want to do either of those things i'd say he's not for real. You don't really know what goes on in his everyday life away from the computer so i'd say take it easy, and be wary. People can play tricks on you and say they are someone when they are not. I'm just wondering what kind of things he gets you to do? Is it sexual, criminal or weird? If you feel uncomfortable i would suggest you don't do it, because you don't have to.
Have you told any of your friends? Maybe you should get their opinion. Good luck :)

No you do not know who he is and you do not know where he is. stop doing what he tells you to do or soon you will be sneaking off to meet him and no one will ever hear from you again. Talk on line if it is fun but keep it on line. You sound like you are headed for trouble so why not give the computer a break and get out there in the real world for a while.
EDIT: You said that you were honest with him on line. Please tell me you have not given out any personal information like you home address or phone or you school or anything that might let him find you. You are playing with fire little girl please don't get burned up

People have talked together for years and never really knew the other person. There are many people out there who love to deceieve other people. It's some kind of thrill they get from your reaction. You need to understand that to truely ever get to know anyone is to spend some time with them. There is no other way that you can completely fall in love with that other person or know if they are honest or not. Thank you and good luck.

I am in the same situation he sounds too good to be true, hes in the navy never been married and loves me and wants to get married!! Seems too wierd to me, but I 'm still chatting with him.

He lives in another country. And you have never met him in person. Unfortunately, you cannot trust anything or anyone over the internet.

You don't know. This can be very dangerous! Be careful. Alot of females have suckered into meeting personally, only to be a victim of some sort of crime.

get a phone card and call him. have real one-on-one conversations. you can also try to vid cam with him and try to read his behavior/expressions. without face to face time its hard to tell. but unless its serious it seems unlikely one of you will leave your country behind to be with the other.
