Softboiled or Halfboiled egg is better than fullboiled as it retains most of the vitalmins and proteins without denaturing them. HOWEVER IT IS GOOD TO EAT A FRESH HALF BOILED EGG.
The way you preserve it decides whether it is edible or not.

It is not. Do not even try it. Softboiled implies that the yolk is partly raw and the whites have been cooked. This will make you sick if it has been left to fester for 4 days.
