Contrary to what some have suggested, it will help if you stay away from all caffeinated drinks. It is true, they can give you a "burst" of energy, but then you will crash. It is like a nitrous injection in racing cars. If you want good levels of energy on demand, eat a good diet and stay away from the boosters.

Exercise! Exercise! Exercise! And limit the amount of carbohydrates you eat in a given day. Once you learn how to count carbs, you will be amazed at how many you eat each day. You will also be amazed at how much energy you have once you control your carbs.

Potatoes, rices, junk foods, bakery, pasta, breads, rolls, muffins etc.

There are 15 grams of carbohydrates to 1 carb. check the serving size on the nutrition labels of everything you eat. Then check the carbohyrate grams for that serving size. For a couple of days, eat the way you are eating now - add the carbs for each day. Find out how many you are currently eating, then cut that in half. Eat only half your normal carbs for the next 2 weeks - I will promise you that if you do that and exercise 3 times a week (with your doctors approval) that your energy levels will go through the roof! Hard to believe until you try it. I guarantee this one!

Okay this is easy. Its called Creatine, its safe and used by all atheletes. It allows you to go that extra mile and keep going!

Its a powder that you mix with water. If you want to get the full benefit so that it never leaves your body then you should drink it 4 times a day for the first 2 weeks. And then just once a day!

Hope this helps. Look on any nutrition site, and you will see how good this stuff is.

I buy mine from the health store. Hope this helps...

Take iron supplements and eat your recommended daily allowance of fruit and veg. Go to sleep before midnight and get at least 8 hours sleep. Stay away from sugar and caffeine as these on give you a quick energy fix then leave you feeling even more tired than before. Don't eat fatty, stodgy foods and drink plenty of water. Get plenty of exercise too.

For a quick fix, high GI food (that contains lots of sugar) will boost your energy levels, however you will get a massive peak then a massive trough in energy. For longer term energy low GI food (slowly released carbs) will keep your energy levels up for longer
