A friend mixes a little of it with water just enough to make the water translucent yellow. He claims it's good for the skin. Is this true? And he drinks it a lot. I don't think he drinks pure water anymore. Will he get diabetes for that? I'm kinda worried.

Fortunately there is more to diabetes than drinking honey water. I would be more afraid for your friend if his eating habits consist of garbage food, however, it sounds like he may eat well. There are a lot of people that drink honey water and have for years with no problems. Look at his family history and 'His' history of diet. I wouldn't worry!

Diabetes is a genetic disease, and eating sweet food (of course including honey) will cause the genetic diseases to occur early.

However, it is unscientific to say that eating sweet things can cause diabetes.

No, glucose in honey will go straight to your blood and your body will use it as a source of energy.
