I think I'm in love but im not sure if its love or infatuation my boyfriend have been through a lot and yet still im there he jus makes me feel so different and so strange when im around him in a good way im always thinking about him i cant stop thinking about him we were very good friends before we started dating and he is always there for me it dosent matter what the problem is he jus takes care of me i feel so safe when im around him and so secure

You have a very good basis for your relationship - your friendship, and evidently there are some strong bonds, as both of you are there for each other.
When you have found your soulmate, you will know inside your heart, without a doubt. Sometimes it takes losing someone or not having them around for a period of time before you realise you cannot really live without them. Then you would also know if he is your soulmate.

Time would be the test here. Will you still "love" him two or three years later, if so it's not just infatuation and probably not lust either.You did bring up some very important parts in a successful relationship. Being friends first helps, being there for each other is always good, and if you don't feel safe and secure in a relationship well then you may as well be out of it. Good Luck.
