Because its just in their DNA...they think sexual thoughts about just about every female that they ever come in contact with, they really just can't help it.

Lord Cupid created these two sexes to sexually attract each other and normally that happens. But it is possible to be just platonic friends for which both friends should be happily married to someone else. Even then the path is too narrow and a slight swing in emotions can change the picture.

Jon M.....It is only a man's opinion that the man a woman (friend) dates "is inferior" to him. She may not think so or else she wouldn't be dating the guy. The so-called friend must not have much respect for his friend who is also a woman if he assumes the man she is dating is inferior to himself.
Sounds like sour grapes.

It is possible, not easy, I was friends with a girl for ages 4 or 5 years until I realised I was in live with her, by which time it was too late she had chosen some one else

That's just the way men work. They can have sex with a female and still remain friends. Women on the other hand are emotional. We need to feel a mental connection before having sex. Men can separate their physical needs from their mental emotions.

since the dawn of time woman kind has pondered this question. i shall condense 30,00 years of human evolution into a few brief sentences. women like to nurture, men like to protect. not all men see women as sexual objects, most men cannot stand the thought of female friends and any woman who is not a potential sexual partner or related to him is soon forgot about. women like to flock together (discos parties bingo) men like solitary pursuits (drinking whoring hunting).

being a mail and speak as a mail some tI'mes if we think with are middle wicket only and pretend to be your friend but im sure you can see them coming. but some lust to find love, but Carnot handle the unbalance of friendship and lust. some just get to know you and find deeper feelings inside but its if they can control that. and the ones that can handle it feel a little let down. when you find a partner. and do get jealous but its not threw you having a new partner they feel that the special bond will be lost hope that helps,

Who said u cant be friends wth a man wthout sexual feelings being involved? maybe it hasn't happened to u yet, but i can tell from my experience that men are ven better friends than women, and they can manage to keep their sexuality aside if they care alot about u

Its inbuilt thats why I don't bother trying to understand why. When accomplished, it releases the tension between both parties. Also a good preamble to talking sense
