I depends on what you mean by accept. If they are going to pray for you right then and there, it's ok if there praying to the God most high. If there praying to buda, ala, or any other god I wouldn't accept their prayers. Also many people have a misconception about the word you used "religion".
What is religion to you? If you think religion is some way of getting closer to God or gaining Gods favor some how, I think you need some more bible time.
Because I am not bound by religion but free in Christ, I don't need prayer. When Jesus said "It is finished" on the cross, my salvation and healing was complete too. In an effort not to offend others tho, I accept prayer from anyone lest I make them think I'm better than they are which tends to cause dissension.

I haven't turned anyone down yet. I've had pagan friends (I'm Catholic) light candles for me (kinda their version of prayers) when my family has gone through bad times. They have asked me to pray for them during the same. Believing in a faith is one thing, accepting the well wishes of others is what I'm doing.

Yes. I am always glad to have good intentions sent my way. I ask my parents to pray for me and I am no longer Christian. They are and I suspect are praying for me anyway. HA HA!

But I like their prayers, yes, very much.

I accept their prayers and tell them thank you. For me, it helps me feel better to hear that someone cares enough about me and my situation to do their version of prayer. It doesn't matter to me who they are praying to.

Of course. Praying helps regardless of religion. It doesn't matter which name we call God, or in which way we pray.

It's kind of like when you contact your friend. ;) You can call him or her on their cell phone, send an e-mail, a pigeon, a message in a bottle... Your friend will help you anyway.

why not, I am agnostic, which means I will find my own way, I won't rule out the chance that I am wrong, and who knows,it might do some good
