Whenever you see Americans having a barbeque they cook sausages, we in South Africa always "braai" steak, lamb chops and sauages etc, isnt sausage a bit boring??

we are selfish in america and don't often cook for large amounts of people or even family. People have become so picky here that you could never satisfy them by burning 1 kind of animal. The sausage thing is true,I assume you are tyalking about hotdogs, but we also enjoy ground beef patties,steaks, pig ribs and chicken breasts. In the sausage department, we like the chorizo, hot italian sausage or german brats also. yeah, the hot dog has gotta be one of the most boring foods ever but what could be more american than unspecific meat on a bun with ketchup that you can eat in 2 bites?!

im asian and i eat ice three times a day... but its still not boring....

Boring sausage, no such thing.The sausage are real good when BBQ'd.they become crunchy with a nice coating of sauce.Don't knock it til you try it........
