Absolutely, if you are holding the credit card and can read off the number expiration date and security code from the back of the card then you can buy anyone an airline ticket. just call you travel agent and explain why you are paying for the trip, e.g. a Christmas present home and you are good to go.

Yes you can. A ticket can be paid for by anyone and used by someone else (like any other goods or services). However, the only person who can use the ticket is the person whose name appears on it.

yes you can buy an e-ticket on your credit card, but the name on the ticket has to match thier passport id or it will be no good, you will need some personal details when you purchase it.

As far as I'm aware you can't do this, the person who bought the ticket has to travel.
