dont listen to people who say, 'cheer up' or 'theres others worse off than you'. i have depression and i know that the worst thing someone can say are these two things. from personal experience it does help to talk to someone you trust, opening up can be hard, but honestly its so much better than keeping it all inside. otherwise try and figure out what is making you feel like this, that can be really confusing and its not always clear. but if you are always being put in stressful situations, maybe see if you can avoid them, which seems kinda obvious! counselling might help too.
good luck with it. i hope ur feeling better soon

You need a Vacation !
Go to a Beach , Wake up in the early Morning hours much before the sunrise . Smell the fresh Morning Air and Listen to the waves crashing and just close your eyes and Meditate . It will refresh your mind and release all the negative energy and help you to control you mind .
Play Sports/Games , Exercise , do any creative work ,
Dont Sit Idol .
And lots of things which you do depending where you live , what you do , etc .

Depression is a illness no different than diabetes or high blood pressure.
1. it will not go away on its own
2. it can be controlled with proper care
3.there is no shame in having a illness[the only shame is on your part for not seeking treatment]
depression is treatable like diabetes so in this regard you can overcome the symptoms of the disease and once again enjoy a productive and happy life.
The best to you I know what I am talking about.
Plus the symptoms you describe are very common with depression . They will subside over time with proper treatment. Please go to your family doctor.

You can find answers in God.
In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!
(Digestion of above can even prevent depression and suicidal thoughts.)

What's wrong? You got a job, go to school, have a place to live, money coming in, food to eat, keep up with paying bills? If you got all this- your doing great! Get a project to do-and stop feeling sorry for yourself--Somebody has it worse than you! Cheer UP!
