It depends on who you're asking. If you're asking a young, inexperienced man who has been exposed to certain, ahem, films and television, then the answer you will get is shaven. If you ask a man who has actually had a life and is proactive and has enjoyed a full sex life, then he may say "natural".
The bottom line is why bother asking. Making yourself happy and do what makes YOU comfortable. Oh, and by the way, men who go to lapdancing and strip clubs DO NOT always want to see shaven. That particulary area, clean shaven, has been known to remind some grown men of children. I have heard men say it is "creepy".
So, in other words, it definitely is a matter of taste.

Either totally shaven or completely natural and nothing in between. But if I had to decide between the two, I'd say not.
