What do I do with an old boyfriend who won't return calls or emails when he and I BOTH have to sign to claim some unclaimed property from the State? He is pissing me off! He never respected me, since day 1, and he's doing it now! We're both married to other people now, but I'm so tired of playing his lame games! What do I do? This is a lot of money we're talking about here, and it's mine!

I have been NOTHING but decent, civil, kind, friendly, forgiving and nice towards him and his wife. I have asked nicely and spoken about it nicely. I am ONLY showing this anger of mine on Yahoo Answers and when talking about it with my husband. I am much more mature than that to take it to his face! Or anybody else for that matter! The guy has always been a jerk and I was a stupid woman to have put up with his crap for so long.

I'm going through the same exact thing with a "family" member and it's regarding a trust. You need to give this to the Lord or it will drive you nuts, trust me I know!

God is the one who will supply your needs and take care of this situation if you put it in his hands. It's hard, I know, but we can't look to man, it will piss us off, drive us crazy and upset only "us" in the long run.

I'm saying this in love, not trying to get you upset. I had to let this go. This is my own flesh and blood doing this, imagine how that feels. I hate it when I'm told, it's just "money". Um, no, it's the freakin principle of the matter. Leave it to get some peace is all I'm saying. The Lord won't let you down nor will he be mocked.

This is not biblical, but it's a true saying: EVERY DOG WILL HAVE HIS DAY!!

1. You called him stupid.
2. You are cursing about him.
3. You're married and bugging him.

Who's disrespectful, in his eyes, at the moment? He will hold this over you and not sign the papers if he left angrily from you.

Have you signed your paperwork or do you both need to be present at the time of signing? Try to think of some agreeable situation for him to want to come to your aid; unkindness in this case will only cause him to ignore you more. Calm down and try again, nicely. Do not lose your temper or start reminding him of all the wrong terrible ways he "never" did you right. Just be civil.

Put it into the hands of an attorney and let them deal with it legally.
