Didn't ya know, it's the religion of peace?

And didn't ya know that Christianity is evil, even though you never see any of them blowing up buildings or places of worship, or protesting when something is said against their religion!

Man, we christians are bad!
=)

Sara, be careful approximately what you assert. words have nuances that usually get away to human beings. The pope did no longer say he exchange into DEEPLY SORRY approximately HIS feedback ON ISLAM (additionally because of the fact he had no feedback on Islam on that subject rely...as what he suggested and brought about maximum of issues is an extract of a late center age rfile wherein an emperor - Manuel the Paleologist - discusses with a muslim chief telling him Islam did no longer carry any advantageous factor on the worldwide for non muslims and the muslims had the habit to unfold their faith by the sword quite than by the peace, that's an historic actuality extensively proved for that express historic era). What he certainly suggested on television (stay in Italy, the place i stay) exchange into that he exchange into DEEPLY SORRY to notice HOW HIS words OF PEACE AND talk were DEEPLY MISUNDERSTOOD by some MEDIA AND by ISLAMISTS. to characteristic on something you're able to understand men of church talk in a particular jargon, that may in specific circumstances be very sublte so which you're able to study between the lines. And the message as a effect exchange into that WHOEVER APPLIES VIOLENCE to get to his objectives isn't A BELIEVER (Be it catholic, muslim, indu or the rest)

The ques asked is plainly trying to sent a message saying Islam is a violent religion. You ask this is because you don't have a clue in politics and current issue. Just like you, the pope lives in a nice surrounding no bomb exploding no people being killed for no reason, your family are safe, eating popcorn while wathing movie, sleeping in a nice comfy bed without to think that very life of yours is vulnerable. Let me assure you the religion Islam itself is peaceful. Have you seen any middle eastern country invading the west. Iran don't make nukes to kill. Please see the right thing and stop focusing the wrong thing. The ques is,

Why they reacted that way?

Know your enemy before judge. Which is more violent in nature, Islam or Christianity.

What the Pope quoted was that 'Islam has brought nothing but evil to the world' - which is a bit harsh coming from the Catholic Church.

The Pope (as far as I'm aware) didn't mention a Muslim connection with violence. And I can understand why those who follow Islam are upset - I'd hate to be described as Evil by the leader of another faith because of a few those who follow my faith acting up.

...Alright alright boys and girls...

This is a little bit of a tricky question...

Muslims raged :yes

Rioted: yes

Bombs: NO

Violence : NO

...some one said that if you were insulted u would do the same...thats a good point

but the fact is they see an insult after an insult after an insult....and they can do anything...so,....they just get angry ...burn a couple of flags...and go home..

they see whats happening to muslims in palestine, iraq, darfur, and in former albania and so on.....they have had enough of insults and they have had enough of being hated...

You know what.,..muslims LOVED the late pope john paul.....yes..they loved him....they went to meet him in syria before christians do....they waited in streets for him.....because he was peaceful..and he made the relation between muslims and christians stronger.

in fact sir, i am a muslim, and when i saw the pope say this nonsense about islam...i said "oh boy here comes another ignorant man ".....if he had read the islam witha non biased sense ,..he would figure out that islam is peaceful....

My brother.. i have read an answer on this question saying that islam urges muslims to kill non muslims.....i would like to tell the answerer that he is either didnt read about islam well or he is an ignorant......

In fact sir islam says: dont hurt Non muslims, protect them with your LIVES...let them live and workl and worship their god in peace.....

Our Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) has said " Who ever hurts a NON MUSLIM as if he would be hurting ME, and i would be his opponent in judgement day"

Yes sir, thats it.....and if anyone doesnt belive me ...just go search it....seek the truth yourselves.....

i have christian and jewish friends...they like me this way and i like them this way ......thats the true islam...

The views were not that of the Pope, they were the opinion of a bloke that lived several hundred years ago...

Christianity is not the message Jesus taught, in fact, it was quite the opposite, for example: Catholic Church is Minted beyond belief...

There you are ... a brilliant deduction my friend!

Islam is synonymous with Hell, death, bombs burkas, generational hate, murder abuse of woman, intellectual castration
of women as well, stoning of women suspected of infidelity and on and on and on...

This is Islam NOT the National Geographic politically correct bleached version but the real blood soaked monolith of hate that it is!
What the Pope said was true ... hell death and the grave follow in the wake of Islam and it's fascism!

Maybe they were saying the pope is right.
Maybe they were communicating the only way they know.
