Here is an analogy that helps to understand what is "trinity".
Think of the sun reflected into a perfectly pure mirror. If you look into the mirror you can see the sun in it. You can say that the sun is in the mirror. The mirror also reflects all the qualities and attributes of the sun - light, heat etc..-
The mirror could say then that the sun is in me. That is when Jesus for example says that the Father is in Him. Jesus is a perfect mirror that reflects all the attributes and perfections of God.
But at the same time the mirror is not the sun. That is when Jesus says that the Father is greater than Him.
The rays of the sun emanating from the sun and reflected in the mirror represent the Holy Spirit.
So the "sun", the "perfect mirror" and the "rays of the sun" emanating from the sun and reflected in the mirror represent the three elements contained in the notion of Trinity.
It has been interpreted as three persons in One which is obviously absurd and therefore has to be accepted as a mystery which means blindly.

Gosh, I sure hope you have doubts and questions. If you didn't you wouldn't be reading the Bible. Doubts and questions are the path of spiritual growth.
Get yourself a Catholic Study Bible. Catholics love and cherish the Bible exactly the way it is. We don't try to explain away the contradictions -- we take the Bible within its historical context, recognizing the history in which it was compiled and edited, and that the many books of the bible are different types of liturature with different purposes. The Catholic Study Bible (mine is the New American Bible) contains reading guides and footnotes that point out corresponding inconsistencies and explain the historical context.
Love the Bible, cherish it, but don't pretend it's a documentary or a science book and don't lose your faith in God over insignificant details!
While you search and study, pray to God. Jesus did.

Not believing that Jesus is God is not a "little doubt". That's a major one and the main requirement you need to be a Christian.
A little doubt would be uncertainty over the exact meaning of certain phrases or words.
You have to understand that man does not know as much about history as he claims to know. Those classes you took are designed by biased people who have an agenda against Christianity. You're lead to believe that they're neutral. But even if they have a neutral opinion, it is impossible to say with any certainty what exactly happened in history if you weren't there. You have to take whatever you're reading on faith. Whether it be your history books, the bible or anything that speaks of the past, you must believe it on faith.
You have faith in your classroom and not the Word of God. That is a major problem.
If you want, you may contact me and we can discuss what specific errors you're referring to. Many times I've found that secular teachings say the bible has errors because they misunderstand the meaning of the text.
The set up "straw-men" just to knock them down. In otherwords, they misrepresent what the bible truly meant and then falsify their false representation.
Here's an example that I hear all the time. People are constantly telling Christians not to judge them because the "bible says not to judge". Well, the problem with that statement is that the bible never says not to judge others. It gives guidelines on how to judge others, but we're never told not to judge people.
When you want to serve God, you must believe that His Word is true and that His Son died for your sins. Without that, you can't even begin to be a Christian.
I encourage you to return to your faith in God and leave the doubting for the world.
Please feel free to contact me.
God bless.

God is the one to believe in. The Bible has many interpretations and we have to be careful about which interpretation we listen to. Reading the Bible is the best way to understand it. The errors that you see in the Bible may be just the interpretation that you have listened to. If you read the passages on your own while they are still in the correct text may not be errors just someone's interpretation that they are an error.
The Bible was written by man through the grace of God's enlightenment and by his followers so some of the books are more to the perspective of the author of the book.
To answer your question if you have doubts about the Bible it just means that God is trying to get you to know more about him. There is nothing wrong about doubting parts of the Bible if you take the time to get to know the Bible better then it has done it's purpose.

The Bible says Jesus is God
A true Christian will go to church or some meeting........" Forsake not yourself the assembling together with those of like faith"
For strength, encouragement, to learn, to teach......
The Bible does not have errors, these claims are made by people who WANT there to be problems. They back up theoir claims by presenting only PART of the scripture. If you actually read, and understand the ENTIRE book, all falls into place. ( there are false translations of the Bible too)
Good luck
Remember , Christianity is the ONLY religion that has a risen Savior. All others have perished and failed to return

at the beginning, i ought to ask you, what do you recommend via you experience such as you're a Christian? Being a Christian isn't consistent with thoughts. it quite is predicated on the certainty which you have admitted which you're a sinner, confessed and repented of your sin, well-known Christ as Savior, and then once you're saved, with the help and power of the Holy Spirit try to stay a existence that pleases Him. If a Christian says that they never doubt, i think of that they are mendacity or residing in denial, or they have not basically gotten to that ingredient of their existence yet. to stay uncertain nevertheless is sin. we've cases as quickly as we question, and that may not incorrect. study the e book of Psalms and notice how David responded to God. each and every each and every now and then he might cry out "the place are you" etc. even nevertheless, even in those cases, he made a ingredient he nonetheless chosen to compliment Him. The devil will try to make you no longer have faith. on each and every occasion those doubts come into your techniques, look to Jesus the author and finisher of your faith, and compliment Him for the duration of the doubts, and notice what happens.

God used my best friend to speak to me about something the other day. She is not perfect yet God used her. It is the same with the bible. It is a combination of human and Divine authors. I don't throw the whole thing out because of a mistranslation or error made by one of the human writers doing his best back in the times to write what was in his heart to write. It is all inspired by God but God still let's us be human when we speak for Him. We don't all of a sudden become perfect people. Keep your focus on the consistent and perfect message of the bible, not on a few errors.

Actually you do mention God in prayers. But most priests will say you should not have doubt. But it really is all about your faith. What does your heart tell you? Not what does the bible tell you. You can pray to God every day without going to church. It's what you belief and your mind set. DOn't look for what people say is right, look for what you feel. YOu'll know.

The True Founder of Christianity
The teachings of Paul, the true founder of Christianity, cannot be found anywhere in the teachings of Jesus or in those of prophets before him.

Today's Christianity Not Jesus' Religion*
[5:72] Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is the Messiah, son of Mary. The Messiah himself said, "O Children of Israel, you shall worship GOD; my Lord and your Lord." Anyone who sets up any idol beside GOD, GOD has forbidden Paradise for him, and his destiny is Hell. The wicked have no helpers.
[5:73] Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is a third of a trinity. There is no god except the one god. Unless they refrain from saying this, those who disbelieve among them will incur a painful retribution.
[5:74] Would they not repent to GOD, and ask His forgiveness? GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
[5:75] The Messiah, son of Mary, is no more than a messenger like the messengers before him, and his mother was a saint. Both of them used to eat the food. Note how we explain the revelations for them, and note how they still deviate!
[5:76] Say, "Would you worship beside GOD powerless idols who can neither harm you, nor benefit you? GOD is Hearer, Omniscient."
_____________________________________________________________________
*5:72-76 In John 20:17, we see that Jesus taught that he was neither God, nor the son of God. Many theologians have concluded, after careful research, that today's Christianity is not the same Christianity taught by Jesus. Two outstanding books on this subject are "The Myth of God Incarnate" (The Westminster Press, Philadelphia, 1977) and The "Mythmaker" (Harper & Row, New York, 1986). On the front jacket of "The Mythmaker" we read the following statement:
" ...Hyam Maccoby presents new arguments to support the view that Paul, not Jesus, was the founder of Christianity....it was Paul alone who created a new religion through his vision of Jesus as a divine Saviour who died to save humanity."
