Hi there!
Well this is what I've thought the first time I went to Spain: great climate almost everywhere (except at the north), nice sense of partying, nice people although I used to think they were more open-minded, some beautiful cities, I fell in love with sangria, cava is good too but I prefer champagne (I'm French hihi), great sense of hospitality.
These were the good points. But there is something I really dislike in Spain: there is a lot of racism, especially towards south-american, north-african and east-european people, and even between the Spaniards themselves, depending on the region they come from and the language they speak. I didn't expect the mentality to change so much just by crossing the Pyrenees mountains!
But generally, Spain gave me a good impression, and although she has a few things to learn, she also has a lot to teach (especially to France)... and I finally decide to stay there. I'm living and working in Spain now.
Besos!

I love it cos I'm an expat living here, I live in Valencia and love this part of the country. Valencia region is the garden of Spain, so lush and green, with great fruit and vegetables all grown locally, great Spanish wines, tapas, countryside and beaches.
This is definitely the best area of Spain.

i went to seville recently, stayed near the plaza de santa cruz in the jewish quarter. muy bien!!! muy muy bien!
i have also been to barcelona, it was fantastic too, i preferred seville however, for its charm. the plaza de espana was spectacular, also was the cathedral.
i love spain, however, i do avoid the touristy places, they are all well and good for a girlie holiday but i believe that these places mask the country's beautiful and charming historical side.
I forgot to mention the CAVA!!!! oh my god, turn off the water and bath in cava, i love the stuff! my fave wine in the WORLD! mmmmmm

The place where all the English crooks go to escape British law! Otherwise it's apparently quite a nice place to go for a holiday or buy a house
