we have a cat and everytime she sleeps in our room or lies down near us in the living room while one of us naps we always wake up with night mares and she is there staring at us when we do. we only have nightmares when she is around. why.

she doesnt only do it to me but to my husband as well and no its not the food before bedtime, cuz we stop eating way before its time for bed. i close the doors to my kids room just so she wont go in. we already made up our minds and are giving her away tomarrow but i just want to know why , why the nightmares only when she is around and they are horrrid nightmares you dont understand.

your cat is pshycick?
or she suffocates u in your sleep.
test it on other people, just in case.

Did you have a bad experience with a cat in your past? Also, don't eat or drink anything right before you lie down- that can also trigger nightmares.

Your cat might be scaring your nightmare away or it might be a coincidence.

i dont think your cat is responsible.what you eat is a better reason.eating a hot taco with very hot sauce will give you dreams.also after watching a horror movie will do the same thing.
