If you going to have to apply for benefits of any kind they will automatically inform child services, CSA. You have no say, it is the law now for fathers to be asked to support their children. Good Luck, I really hate dead beat dads, I had one.

i am going threw the same thing with my ex boyfriend you need to contact you local child support office and or human resources office and go down to file for it... but it does take a while for you to be formally seen by a judge..and they will make you proved proof that he is the father so you will more then likly have to do a DNA test.... good luck

Go to www.csa.gov.uk
click on leaflets and you will find a downloadable one on child support though beware they will take alot off him and you will only get a percentage.
you may be better going through lawyers and get a binding contract as to child support

The child support division in your county-they should handle that- and some take their time- if you get on welfare they will move a lot faster- or ask your lawyer- since you are getting a divorce-D

Get them to pray to their guardian angels, like this:
'O Guardian Angel, my guardian dear,
Through whom God's love commits me here,
Ever this day be at my side'
To light and guard ,
To rule and guide ,
Amen'
and afterwards, at night time
'If I should die before I wake I pray the Lord my soul to take'
And for Daddy
'Dear Jesus open Daddy's heart to be a loving and sharing Father and let him know we love him too. May the Arc-Angel St. Raphael liberate him from his emotional blindness and teach him the true value of fatherhood.'
