But when a Palestinian does that to save his son from being killed, his brother's arm being broken, his mother being raped, his home being destroyed, and his mosque being violated -- He gets the title of a terrorist! Why? Because he is a Muslim!
When there is a trouble we accept any solution? If the solution lies in Islam, we refuse to take a look at it.
When someone drives a perfect car in a bad way no one blames the car.
But when any Muslim makes a mistake or treats people in a bad manner - people say "Islam is the reason"!
Without looking to the tradition of Islam, people believe what the newspapers say.
But question what the Quran says!

i'm speechless, this is the really the best question at yahoo answers so far and u said it all, i cant put it in a better way, nor add to what u said.
since we're brainstorming here trying to find reasons, i have this explanation for that.
i think the main reason for all whats happening is Islam itself, Muslims have this inner satisfaction and calmness, no threat whatsoever, maybe its because of the strong faith we have in God, we sleep everyday knowing that nobody is gonna change our minds about our beloved religion, knowing that we’re strong even only in the heart, knowing that we don’t need to make effort to show how good is Islam, as its spreading so quickly everyday.
All that make us relieved watching whats happening around us in the world, yeah sometimes we feel sad for the insults we receive but at the end we feel confident, u can say it’s a gift from God to give us this peace in our hearts.
I think that’s the difference between us and the people who blame Islam for everything, they feel insecure as this amazing religion is rapidly spreading cause its true and beautiful, so they are the ones who need to make effort to give bad image about Islam while we don’t, not to mention also that Islam tells us to be fair and never give false image about anybody even from of other religions and beliefs.
But I tell u what, those accusations only makes Islam becomes more stronger in our hearts, as it gives u an idea about how u could’ve been if u were a non-Muslim which makes u thank God for being a Muslim.
I don’t know, this is my only explanation for that, correct me if I’m wrong.

Lets face it...when the world looks to Christianity, they see the Pope...when they look to Islam, they look to Iraq and Bin Laden...
So now we ask ourselves why people judge Muslims more?
Go figure...
In the end it's not about the religion, but about reality...
I'm a christian and love Jesus dearly, but I also believe that i can learn about God from Islam and other religions...cause I don't think any of us have THE right answer or has THE GOD figured out...
So if we feel negative about people coming down on our "religion"...maybe it's time for some self inspection and see if we are defending the faith (whatever it may be)...or living it and inviting other people to jump in on the ride with us...
When God says He sees our hearts...doesn't He maybe look past religion?
