His skin would be the same colour as other people in that region of course. He also is not the way he was portrayed in the bible. There were literally hundreds of written accounts of his life in many different gospels. They were also written decades to a century after he died. The church powers simply chose the 4 that suited their purposes. What purposes are those? I'll give you a hint. Visit the Vatican and try to estimate how much money and power the church has amassed through the years. If Jesus did exist he was most likely a political activist in the style of a Gandhi or Martin Luther King. Without the miracles of course.

Certainly.The 'Jesus' was,and still is,a Jew who being of a middle eastern strain was naturally darker than,lets say,your average run of the mill Viking.As to color?What color?White is a color,though it lacks any and all pigmentation is still a color.Do you mean a dark/white man?Can't be since darkness depends on pigment.Please specify.Dark man.

The greater question is does it matter what color Jesus is? God has created every color of man in existance on the planet. God has in the jewish people themselfs shown us that he does not descrimate on the basis of color. And actually there are scripture in which God shows he does not favor bigots or racist. Example Arron and wife judge Mosus for having a Black wife. God punishs them for there way of thinking. As we have the history of Jesus's color as being a of Jewish linage and he was from the tribe of juda and he is known as being white or light skinned. Is this a question as all!

According to Scripture, he is the color of "burnished bronze"....

Rev 1:12-15

12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

Kinda dark.... But, so are the people in those countries.....

Ginger

No. Jesus was a Semite, a Jew, just like the people living in Israel, today.

he was from the middle east. middle east people do have a brownish tone to them. so i imagine that he would of had some color to his skin.

but then again 6000 years ago people did not look like they do today. over time people from different cultures immigrated to other parts of the world,
