My answer is: somehow get every person, animal, sample affected in a very large area and nuke it. It's very inhumane but the only way to free the earth of this burden

Good, clean, sensible, healthy living for everyone should do the trick.

I do hope that you don't have the bad luck to get infected with HIV just from "falling in love" which is what has happened to many of these people you want to NUKE. After all, if all of us who fell in love got HIV and then got NUKED there wouldn't be many people left would there. Still, you might prefer to be the only CLEAN human left on the planet!

I share your worry and concern about AIDS & Hiv and probably continued research is the answer. But don't you think that the 'nuking' idea would be a much larger risk for the world's innocent population. Remember Chernobyl ? we're still suffering the effects of that nuclear fall out.

Are you insinuating, dude that even innocent people, like babies that are born with it, or those that accidentally get the virus by blood transfusions, should also be eradicated by your method?

A thinkable question, but an extremely UNTHOUGHTFUL answer!

I have worked and done a thesis on people affected by the virus, therefore, I truly understand how they feel about their illness and how fearful they get; especially knowing that their life span is shortened!

Hence, I would suggest that people should use common sense and stray away from unprotected sex, not use needles and to put it in a nutshell, living a good clean life on this earth.

Statistics show that infection of majority HIV cases are from blood transfusion (9000 out of 10000 cases). I have read from some magazines that blood transfusion is done in non-essential cases also. I am of view that blood transfusion should be minimized to the lowest to avoid HIV infection.
Sexual relationship with more than one partner should be prohibited.

We will never, ever get rid of AIDS and HIV even with your Final Solution to the problem so why not try to come up with a way to control and cure the illness?

The best way to erradicate AIDS and HIV is to get the Catholic Church to lift its pre-historic ban on condoms.

Education is also needed.

inhuman thought my dear. Tuberclosis was considered to be non-curable, now it is 100% cureable.
Anyhow try to find out from where this virus entered into human race. Just 30 years ago, when USA space Station fell on the earth, it emerged into human beings.
Was its virus came from the space?
Or some kind of misadventure done by some scientists, as Nazis used human beings as gunie pigs for medical experimentation, same may not have happened with African people by some western scientists, and this disease has emerged.
Now who is suffering, mostly people from Asia and Africa.

Education quite simply doesn't seem to work. There's been loads of education in the UK about using condoms to protect from disease, and yet its on the rise anyway. Mostly kids who think they're immortal who don't bother to cover up cos it feels better without.

There needs to be some real work put into drumming it into people's heads, because people just aren't listening, and its not exactly difficult to reduce your own risks!

Why on Earth weren't you tapped on the head at birth?
Aids/HIV is a disease that scientists are doing their upmost to find a cure for. As for "nuking" the people who have it borders along the lines of genocide. I'd nearly pin point you to being a racist. As for the rest of you people saying things along the lines of monkey shaggers and such. Take a good hard look at the needles thet by drug addicts and other ways of getting aids/hiv.
Go back to school and educate yourselves.

It sounds like a good idea, the only trouble being the viruses can lay dormant for years before a person has any signs of illness.
