Although the Indonesian constitution guarantees religious freedom for all, the Government officially only recognises six religions, namely Islam, Protestantism, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism. Indonesia is the world’s most populous Muslim-majority nation with almost 86% of Indonesians declared Muslim according to the 2000 census. 11% of the population is Christian (of which roughly two-thirds are Protestant), 2% Hindu, and 1% Buddhist.

There's 5 official religion in Indonesia,
1st Islam
2nd Christian Protestant
3rd Christian Catholic
4th Buddhism
5th Hinduism
but there's also other religion such as Confucianism, Taoism and Animism... this is not official religion,
Almost 90% of 250 million people of Indonesia is Muslim, Also 8% Is Christian Catholic and Protestant, the rest are the others religion

I feel that Islam is not based on truth as a result of study. Education is key. As was already brought out. Jesus words should not conflict with the quran. And this is regardless of whether u believe Jesus to be God's son or just a prophet. Also Mohammad may of had good intentions, but he was clearly not sent by God. Just his lifestyle alone gives evidence of this. And is very contrary to what Jesus taught. Again such a blatant contradiction. There are some aspects of the quran that any Christian would appreciate, because they are similar to many scriptures. But i believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God. And the evidence of such is overwhelming. The aforementioned is really just few discrepancies. But of course most religions "Christians" or not, have their own share of inadequacies, and not all professing to be Christ followers would have his approval, according to Jesus own words. update: "the comforter" is God's holy spirit, not Mohammad. Also please note that Jesus himself said he was God's son. Did not Jesus appear before Paul?

i just know abt Islam as a official religion....i kno that Indonesia is Muslim country.i love Indonesia(as a Pakistani).

indonasia has one of the largest muslim population in the world, islam is the main religion there
