Absolutely forget the margarine- that is trans fattty acid territory; and that is the worst kind of fat for your body. Butter in moderation, avocado is ok.

find a good doctor or naturopath who uses a Listen Orion to help locate allergies. Also a kinesiologist is good as well.

Milk and wheat are greatly overrated. Many people are allergic or have a food intolerance to them.
If you must eat bread go for sourdough.

However you need to consult a professional or two

Whole wheat breads and pasta are much more nutritious than your average portion of angel hair or potato bread. Even though they're slightly higher in calories, they provide you with much more than empty calories that regular pasta and bread do. Whole wheats are very good for you because they're higher in protein, and especially fiber (which is the good carbs). All the nutrition is located in whole wheat bran, but not in its body (from which regular flour is made of). If you're not lactose intolerant, then, feel free to drink milk and especially plain yogurt at least once or twice a day. When it comes to your work out, slow down a bit with your treadmill. Don't want to scare you, but I had a bad pain in my foot because of running. Walking is the best cardio work out from which your body will benefit. But, try walking at least an hour every day. Avoid margarines, because they contain hydrogenated fat which is carcinogenic. It's way much better for you to use butter instead. At least, butter fat won't harm your health. But, in my humble opinion, it's probably the best to use healthy cheese spreads.

Whole grains and low fat yogurt are very good for you. You can be allergic to them, but I think the effects would most likely be intestinal. If you are older, pain in joints is something you need to get used to and manage. I work out several times a week and am always in pain. Hot and cold presses, baths, yoga, meditation, chiropractic, physical therapy on occassion; all help. I use light butter (oxymoron), but very sparingly. I don't believe in using margarine.
