Hot compresses work to draw the **** from the boil (sorry, don't know the technical term for it), it might come to a head, like a pimple, don't pop it. If it starts to ooze on it's own, keep the area as clean as possible and go see a doctor. Actually, either way, your friend should go and see a physician about this before it gets too big and uncomfortable. He's lucky that it's in the arm pit, my ex got one a little farther south (if you catch my meaning) years ago and had to be hospitalized so that it could be removed. Try to explain that to the fellas at work!

Just make up a bread poultice using warm water and a pad for the poultice, use a bandage to cover the affected area until the boil is drawn out! Reheat the poultice when it cools down. You can apply an antiseptic cream to the affected area as well. Have a good day!

try putting a hot towel on it a few times a day, it should go away within a few days tops or consult a Dr.

hey i too faced this type problem.. i consulted doctor and took treatment... its spreads..so better consult the doctor... its is due to heat and untidy... so better take treatment soon....
