Dear Rekha G,

You can give them away to friends at church or someone who needs them.

Or you can also donate them to the library. One of the moms at our church works at the library and she brought a whole bunch of bibles from the library to church which we've given away to people who have needed and asked for them.

Kindly,

Nickster

Old religious books are precious. Find someone really interested in reading them. Religious books are not for just show or praying, but to teach us the way of life - so if you find time and inclination - read them.

I have epilespy, so my memory is terrible. I wait a few months and read the book again and it's like reading a book I've never read before.

Re-read them or give them away. What you think is trash might be a treasure for someone else.

But if they really are trashed and you need to dispose of them, the ancient tradition in the Catholic church for disposing of sacramentals (meaning "little holy things") is by burning or burying. (Not throwing in the garbage dump.)

Don't throw them away. Give them to some one else who might need them.
