That's a plan. Forgive Hussien, ok.

We could start by making you the chairman of the American committee to forgive Hussein. Maybe, we can even fund this committee on donations from other Americans??? I think we maybe able to raise enough funds right here......to send you on a peace mission to Iraq. Your first duty will be to spread the word of love and forgiveness of Hussein to the folks of Iraq. Maybe, just maybe, you would live long to talk about your trip!

I bet your think releasing Charles Manson from prison is a GREAT idea too. We can forgive him. While we are at it......we can forgive Hilter....maybe he wasn't such a bad guy after all?

Maybe you can teach the world to sing while you are at it.

You should consider having your water tested, you may be ingesting tainted water that is altering your sense of reality.

You need to watch Glen Beck.

There is a segment of Iraqi society that is still very loyal to Saddam. They are also responsible for possibly 1/3 of the violence in Iraq. The sooner Saddam is executed the sooner that portion of the insurgency will stop.

Forgiving him is far fetched idea but using him in someway is definitely a desperate attempt of last resort!

Nonetheless,

Despite what is said about the chaos in Iraq and the miss-calculated risk taken by the US which is resulting in the catastrophic situation, believe me, what is happening there from disunity and violence is going in some body's favor.
For a fact someone ignited an is still igniting the sectarian violence purposefully to make Iraq in the situation its in. Of course if the Oil is secured by the best army in the world and its pumps are working 24/7 without a counter or a cashier it would be an ideal situation for the mess to continue...

Afraid not Saddam got his power from a entirely Sunni govt. The govt and army he inherited the 1st time are all gone now and have been replaced by militia's. There is no way for him to resume power as his power base is gone. I doubt if we even propped him up he could survive. This civil war is in full swing and there is no stopping it now.

A reasonable question. Yes, I think that some things could improve if we put him back in power, but, some things would get far worse and of course we'd have to get involved again at some later time.
Its too late for that, but I believe its a good question, and I'm sure many have wondered the same...even though Saddam did ensure a balance in the M.E., still it wouldn't take long for things out there to go awry with him in power. But civil war would be less likely.(there wouldnt be many left after he got free and back in the saddle)

Hussein became into killing his very own human beings yet no longer something like what Stalin became into doing. Hussein became into maintaining his fiefdom from in domicile skill struggles. the guy on the line became into incredibly risk-free. It became into the increasing generals and politicians that have been in Saddam's gun attractions for most of the time. confident the Iraqis have been a hell of so lots greater effective off with the dictator on the helm. In some years persons are going to work out basically how nicely off the Libyans have been with the nut bar Qaddafi, and Mubarak? nicely a minimum of he gave returned a number of what he became into stealing and he did save the peace extremely. Syria is going down the comparable street the Tunisians began and by gum in the event that they at the instant are not going to be led by the nostril on the palms of the Muslim Brotherhood. they have Egypt, they have Libya of their pocket, the Tunisian women are walking scared for what has taken carry of their u . s . now. you will get all varieties of arguments and debates with regard to the so spoke of as Arab Spring. yet time will let us know all: the muslim brotherhood is going to be working the completed of the Arab international very quickly. How they run issues is by "Shariah regulation". Ever watch a rustic thrive below Shariah regulation after the freedoms their dictators gave them? look at Iran, you be attentive to the land Jimmy Carter fvcked up. (ever observe how briskly the human beings have been released after Reagan have been given into skill?) The Shah of Iran became into toppled and look at what's there now. you could anticipate Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Syria, to be donning the footwear of the muslim brotherhood basically like Iran does immediately.

He would get his country under control by killing most of the people. As his ideas did not change we would be back to square one and all the grief our country and England and a few others would have been for nought. He is where he belongs right now.

You're absolutely right. There is no question: He is the only man capable (brutal) enough to control Iraq. Any one with less of an iron fist will let the tensions rip the country apart much as they are right now. There is no reasoning with religious fanatics.

I don't think giving Saddam his job back will help. Either way i think someone the same as him will end up in charge when America gives up and leaves!
