Sorry, I'm not a Jew, but of course you will find Abraham in the Old Testament. You can read all of the Bible (Old and New Testament), make sure your translation is based on the original manuscriptes called the "textus receptus", the received text, which is inspired by the Holy Spirit of God. The best Bible to read in English is the King James Version. Avoid Bible translations that are based on "textus vaticanus" and "textus sinaiticus" as these are corrupted manmade texts.

Abraham showed Faith to God by accepting to sacrifice his only son, by his seed came Isaac, Jacob and later Jesus Christ. The islamic point of view is not your best approach to learn about him because muhammed changed it to suit his religion...the Jewish point of view is the same as in the bible.
Lastly there is no edited versions of the bible but rather discarded books that didn't hold any revelations from God , or nothing that would edify the readers. The bible is true, when you read it , ask God to reveal its meaning and He will !

According to the theologian Swedenborg, Abraham was the first literal person in the Bible. Chapter 11 of Genesis is the first chapter actually written by Moses.
The first two stories about Adam and Eve and Noah are about the Most Ancient Church and the Ancient Church that came before Abraham's time.

He sent away his "wild donkey of a son" into the Paran wilderness, which is located in the northeast part of the Saini Penninsula, NOT Saudi Arabia.
Also, he went to Mount Moriah to sacrifice his son Isaac. He did NOT travel to Mecca to sacrifice Ishmael for God. This proves Mohammad changed things Bible to invent his OWN religion. No wonder the Jews rejected his claim to he a prophet.
There his Egyptian mother found him an Egyptian wife. That means Ishmael's offspring have at most 1/4 of Abraham's blood. Mix that blood with generations and generations of non Israelites, and the amount of Abraham's DNA would be virtually undetectable. So much for Mohammad's claim to Abraham's son's birthright!

Abraham was married to Sarah, and was childless,
Sarah gave Hagar to Abraham, and Hagar got preggers. Sarah got jealous and would beat Hagar (with Abraham's full consent) so Hagar took off. Hagar was saved but told by God to return. She was also told of who her son would be (wild donkey, in opposition of everyone) She gave God a name, "God who sees me"
Hagar returned. She gave birth to Ishmael.
Again, God promised Abraham a child from Sarah that would hold his covenant.
Sarah, long past childbearing, was finally given the baby that God promised them. He was born, and named Isaac. According to scripture, when Isaac was weaned (traditionally around 3yrs old) his brother, Ishmael, was being an older brother and smirking at the kid, so Sarah sent Hagar and Ishmael away.
Later, God tested Abraham, He sent Abraham out to sacrifice his son, Isaac. Abraham took Isaac out, he laid him on the alter, and raised his hand to kill Isaac, and at that time, God provided the lamb.
It's in Genesis.
