Just a friendly chat/question. I am jewish, and believe that our messiah will come in due time. Could be anyone, but we don't know. I also believe that you don't have to be jewish to get into heaven/the world to come, and that it's based more on actions. The reason i am asking is because i find religion to be an interesting topic, and want to have a topic where there is no "ZOMG U'R GUNNA BURN IN HELLZ" type of comment, though unfortunately it is a bit unrealistic.
NO drama or hate of any kind. If i see ANY of it, then i WILL remove it and report you

Edit: To the messiah question, I think it will be for bringing all jews to israel and rebuilding the third temple.

WELL...
I am a Muslim, I studied Christianity as well as Judaism for sometime of my life, Islam has always had answers to my questions and all main principles of Islam go in line with other religions (except for the trinity illogical idea)... I believe in the Messiah, we believe he will come to unite the world, break the cross and fight with another Muslim leader against non- believers, we believe that Islam is a completion of other religions and not a contradicting thing.

I am a Muslim. I believe and as my religion says, all these prophets Muhammad(PBUH), Jesus, Moses, Yeshua all came to Earth. They were the messengers of God and were sent to guide people to right path. We believe that Torah, Bible and Quran were all books sent to people by God. However, over the centuries by various interpretations and translations, some texts got changed over time. I also believe, Jesus will return one day, however, we do not believe Jesus to be the son of God but his messenger. We do call Jesus, God's soul but not God himself. We reckon Moses to be God's voice and Muhammad to be God's prophet. Since Muhammad was the one who brought the teachings of Islam to us, he is the one we know aboput the most and recognise the most. Just like Jesus brought the teachings of Christianity and Moses brought the teachings of the Jews.
I believe them all to be right but as i said, over time due to interpretations and translations, teachings were changed minutely until the overall effect became quite large. These 3 religions are quite similar if we know what we are following. For Muslims, if they want to marry someone of another religion, they need to convert them first, however if the other person is Christian or Jew, the conversion is not needed. This shows that Islam accepts these religions. Its just that some over-fanatic paople have changed how people look at us but I do not think that is the thing we should be concerned abpout but only about what we as individuals believe in.
For once i saw a question which I enjoyed answering... :)

I am Christian...just wondering about the Messiah concept for you...What is the Messiah going to bring? If your admittence into heaven is based on actions, then what need does manking have for a savior, or will he be more concerned with life on earth?

I'm an open-minded Buddhist, I don't want to state my religion is the only truth, and I agree with you that people goes to heaven based on their action.
