I HATE the taste of salt. I never put salt on anything, and if something has a salty taste I won't eat it. But lately I've been having a craving for salty potato chips, french fries, ham, all kinds of salty stuff. Does this mean that I'm not getting enough iodine or something in my diet?

I already said that I don't like the taste of salt. Any kind of salt, and that includes sea salt.

Usually yes, it's your bodies way of telling you it wants it. But by eatting a normal healthy diet (not salting your food) you should be getting enough sodium (the main thing you get from salt, some salt doesn't have iodine at all).

The body usually craves for what IT NEEDS and LACKS. (asking for) So, YES. You need more salt.
All the required levels of elements need to be there for a healthy body..if you cut out sugar from your diet for example, you will be craving for sweet deserts and chocolates.
Some people do not like drinking water because is tasteless and boring (not like beer or wine etc)..but have to drink it to survive.
