They hate anything that is a threat to their "truth"
Its strange though,if God himself told them they were wrong about 99% of things they would keep believing and call God a heretic lol. Thats the mentality of most zealots >.< to quote Bill Hicks on fundamentalist Christians: "what i think God MEANT to say is..." lol

Eccl.1:18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.
I have known this all the time that I have been a bible student and the last person to try to talk to is some one in religion, [ close relitave, distant relative, friend or stranger ], there is no such thing as a christian which means to know the word of God and not just know the word of what ever religion and I do not want to go there.
Religions prevent the word of God from being taught or learned. Fact, so the person knowing the scripture [ and it made my religion totally wrong ], takes up his cross as Jesus did Matt.10:34-38;
What does science and evolution have that the bible does not have?

I wouldn't exactly say Christians hate science and knowledge. One reason why you may believe this is that today, science can prove biblical theories wrong and explain supernatural events, such as the plagues of Egypt. Therefore, science in a way disagrees with the bible.
I myself am not Christian, so I'm not sure how valid my answer is, but that's what I've observed.

True Christians do not hate science and knowledge, because we understand that these things come from God.
I read a book called "Genesis and the Big Bang," written by a nuclear scientist who is also a Christian, who explained that the world took billions of years to form AND was created in six days, SIMULTANEOUSLY. How is that possible, you may ask? It is explained by Einstein's General Theory of Relativity. From the viewpoint of a theoretical person who may have been standing on the "earth" at the time of its creation, the process would have taken billions of years. But from the point of God, who was traveling "on the face of the waters" of the earth at nearly the speed of light following the Big Bang, the process only took six days, because time slows down as one approaches the speed of light.
Another case in point -- who's to say that God didn't use the process of evolution to create Man? When Man finally evolved to his present form and became enlightened to the presence of his Creator, he became "Man" at that point.
So you see, in reality, science and Christianity are really completely compatible. Christians who don't believe so don't know enough about science and their own faith to be able to render a qualified judgement.

My own denomination, which is just one of many within the Christian continuum, sponsors a number of excellent preparatory academies and universities. There are scientists and educators in my parish, not to mention within the church at large. The very idea that Christians have discarded intellectual advancement is absurd.

those those that don't think in God do not somewhat have evidences how God would not exist, how are all of us created, how did the international come out of no the place? the final they'd arise with is large bang that's yet another word for "i don't understand" come out of no the place! no count how knowledgeable or smart we are, they can't deny that there should be a supernatural tension that has created our planet, how our planet, sunlight, and moon works, and the universe and, that author is God. in the event that they'd't precisely clarify each thing i choose to understand on the subject of the international, universe, stars, how each thing is strictly made, all varieties of human race reason the bible pronounced God substitute them while the human beings substitute into attempting to construct blocks to bypass to the sky to envision god so god have been given mad and alter human into diverse races, in the event that they'd't prepare actual evidences how God do not exist than perhaps i does not be arguing with them. i don't hate technological information, i believe maximum of it yet a number of it somewhat is trash honestly a number of it would not clarify issues too nicely, I also have a ton of greater question approximately god that technological information can not prepare me incorrect beside making up shitty call which will outline as i don't understand returned. heavily there a brilliant style of stuff i'm able to assert how god is actual I propose there should be, If we are actual than why not believe God is actual too?

Wrong, absolutely. Many years of research? Of what reading Atheist websites? I am sorry. But not to offend, but your question was odd. As Christian I am a "lover" of truth. Historically speaking, there are so many great minds who choose to believe God. Even today, tomorrow or in the future.
Tell me what knowledge in the world that can compromise my faith? There is none. Except those Christianity trashing websites.
Science cannot prove or disprove the existence of God, but there are people who are using science to prove or disprove God. Philosophy and logic are another branch of knowledge that have been exploited by both atheists and Christian apologists.

It is easier to have people without knowledge believe in fairy tales.
On of the main objective of Christianity is to have the numerous poor and weak accept their condition without revolting against the happy few rich and powerful. If you bring knowledge, education and science to the masses they start asking question and sometime change the old order. This is obviously not acceptable .

I don't agree with you, I am a Christian and I don't hate science or gaining knowledge. God gave scientist the brains to seek knowledge and help their fellow man with what they have learned.

I love science and the knowledge it brings to light, but scientist try too many times to discount the Bible and it's truths. The Bible has been a constant source of information for thousands of years and has never changed, whereas scientist are always changing their views on things.
